Jörg Sahlmann, MD, PhD
Clinical Director
Dr. Jörg Sahlmann was born in Lübeck, Germany. He studied Medicine at the University of Lübeck and completed his education as anesthesiologist and emergency physician. Furthermore, his education and training include a diploma in information technology from the FernUniversität Hagen and a Master in biometry and biostatistics from the University of Bremen. Before joining the company in July 2011 he served as Medical Officer in the German Federal Armed Forces and gained experience in the CRO industry as Head of Clinic, Medical Director and Biometrician at Scope Life Sciences GmbH, Hamburg.
Werner Weber, MD
Senior Medical Advisor, Recruitment Manager
Werner Weber was born in Pullach, Germany. He studied Medicine at the University of Ulm and has 24 years experience in clinical trials, having performed more than 500 studies of various types. Before joining the company in October 2007, he served as Medical Director at PHAROS GmbH in Ulm. Starting his career in CRO business at LAB GmbH in Neu-Ulm, he held a series of leadership roles within clinical research, culminating as Senior Study Director at PAREXEL GmbH, Berlin, Director of Clinical Research at BIOPHARM GmbH, Berlin, and Principal Investigator at MDS Pharma Services, Hamburg.
Christa Zante, MD
Investigator
Christa Zante was born in Hamburg, Germany. She studied Medicine at the University of Hamburg. Before joining the company in August 2011 she served as Research Associate at the Department of Anesthesiology, University Hospital Hamburg-Eppendorf, as Plasmapheresis Specialist at Baxter Deutschland Produktionsgesellschaft GmbH and gained experience in the CRO industry as investigator at Scope Life Sciences GmbH, Hamburg.
Brenda Queen, MD
Investigator
Brenda Queen was born in Annapolis, Maryland, USA. She studied Physics at the Howard University, Washington DC, the Morgan State University, Baltimore, and the University of Kiel, and Medicine at the University of Hamburg. While in graduate school she was awarded the American Business Women's Association Scholarship Award, the Maryland State Senatorial Scholarship, the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center Graduate Fellowship and a Fulbright Fellowship that took her to Kiel. Before joining the company in January 2011, she gained clinical experience as a Senior Medical Student in the fields of Internal Medicine, Urology and Surgery in Hamburg and Bristol.
